Our vehicle is an adaptable nomadic experience that lets you explore beyond the imagined. Equipped with adaptable and exchangeable pods and chassis depending on the situations, the experience is elevated even further for the users. Whether you want to do yoga in the forest, camp in the desert, or swim in the ocean, the Volkswagen Outreach got you covered.
Native American heritage culture — specifically those of the Inuit and Navajo tribes — foster a deep connection with nature. The Outreach Nest and Outreach Plus architecture attempts to create an intimate relationship between the visitor and nature through mirrored glass and a low ecological footprint.
The architecture is inspired by the Native American/Nomadic culture, which helps us maintain a balance between minimalistic and wholesomeness under one roof.
The structures are fully powered by solar panels, bridging true functionality and environmental consciousness. Natural heating and cooling methods are used with respect to the varied environments of each structure (e.g., desert and snow), further cementing the Outreach Nest’s commitment to and inspiration from nature and biophilic design.
The Outreach Plus features a subtle colour palette with the perspective of futurism and seamlessly blends with clarity in biophilia. With 180° views, the architecture is one of its kind. It compels the residents to engage with nature, experiences and a sense of freedom.
To reflect an environmental ethic, both Outreach Nest and Plus structures touch the site lightly: they are lifted off the ground by columns made with natural materials, including rammed earth, concrete, and tree piles. The structure’s columns and exterior materials mimic the local environment while allowing natural plant life to thrive.
